Robert statuettes
Nord News February 6, 2021
In the
category, Vinterbergs was, among other things, up against himself, as he was also nominated for his role in
the film “Riders of Justice”.
The film has sold more than 800,000 tickets in Denmark.
Thomas Vinterberg also received
the Director of the Year award, while Janus Billeskov Jansen and Anne
Østerud won the Editor of the Year for their work on the film.
“Drunk” is about four high school teachers who sit
down to test a theory that man is born with half a per mille too little.
Since 1984, the Danish Film Academy has awarded the coveted Robert prizes every
year, but when the prize-giving took place on Saturday night, it was far from traditional.
For
the first time, it took place virtually due to the corona pandemic, which prevented a major show.
With the film-savvy host Søren Høy at the
helm, 28 prizes were awarded to strong forces behind both feature films, documentaries and TV series.
In a small studio, he had several guests from the Danish film industry who had the honor of reading out
the nominees and the winners, while there were also virtual visits from several of their colleagues who
helped to present the many prizes.
Several of the statuettes the team behind the action comedy “Riders of Justice” could look forward to bringing home.
Among other things, the young talent
Andrea Heick Gadeberg won the award for
Female Leading Role of the Year, and Lars Brygmann received the statuette for Male Supporting Role of the Year in the film, which is written and
directed by Anders Thomas Jensen. This is the
second time Lars Brygmann has won a Robert.
A record was set in the TV categories when the only 15-year-old Flora Ofelia Hofmann Lindahl won the award for Female Leading Role of the
Year in a TV series. She is the youngest recipient of that award ever.

– Thank you very much, I can not understand it at all! I had not dared
to hope for it, it sounded from the newly crowned prize winner, who like the other prize recipients
had to give his speech of thanks via a network connection.
In the series “The Wolf is Coming”, which
was broadcast on DR this autumn, she plays the girl Holly, who accuses her stepfather
of violence.
Whether she is telling the truth, the actor Bjarne Henriksen in the role of social
worker must find out. And on Saturday night he could rejoice that he had done so well that he also
snatched a Robert for it.
