"This morning, our former colleague Mohsen Jafari Rad, a critic and writer who had turned to making films and working with television in the last few years, committed suicide by taking some pills at the age of 36."
Following the announcement of the death of Mohsen Jafari Rad, a film critic and filmmaker, Hoshang Golmakani, the editor in chief of "Today's Film" magazine, announced the arrest of Mr. Jafari Rad a few weeks ago during the Karaj City protests and announced the cause of his death as "SUICIDE".
