Pray for her! Her disease is severe and its origin is unknown
VOA April 21, 2024
Taraneh Alidoosti's mother has announced that her daughter is suffering from an illness of "unknown origin".
Nadereh Hakim Elahi, the mother of Taraneh Alidoosti, a well-known Iranian actress, announced in a live Instagram program that her daughter was suffering from an unknown disease.
Earlier, there were reports that Mrs. Alidoosti was ill and hospitalized, and now her mother has confirmed this.
On Saturday, April 20, Nadereh Hakim Elahi confirmed this news and said: "My daughter's condition was not good, but now she is fine. Pray for her. Her disease is severe and its origin is unknown. I was worried, but I got over it."
However, on Sunday, the movie newspaper "BaniFilm" claimed on its website that Taraneh Alidoosti was admitted to Kasra Hospital in Tehran.
According to the report of this newspaper, Taraneh Alidoosti was admitted to this hospital three days ago with symptoms of "dizziness and liver problems".
BaniFilm wrote that the medical team is trying to find the cause of Mrs. Alidoosti's physical problems by conducting various tests.
Alidoosti was detained for a while for supporting nationwide protests in 2022 and has been "banned" by the Ministry of Guidance for refusing to wear the mandatory hijab.
Zahra Minoui, Alidoosti's lawyer, recently said about her case in the Culture and Media Court that Mrs. Alidoosti has been "six months supervised".
According to Ms. Minoui, this case is related to an Instagram post Alidoosti shared with her followers about Armita Geravand (1), that according to the court Alidoosti should not publish "any posts with political content" during these six months.
