Katayoun (1939, Iran)
Katayoun Amir Ebrahimi (born 1939), is an Iranian cinema and television actress.
Katayoun's major activities in cinema industry belongs to the pre-islamic era in the so-colled FILMFARSI beginning in 1963 with The Cobweb (Tare Ankaboot by Mehdi Mirsamadzadeh).
Between 1963 and 1974 she played in more than forty films.
She is mostly known and remembered for her starring role as Chelgis in Ali Hatami's Hassan the Bald (aka Hassan Kachal, 1970).
In 1971 she played alongside Azar Shiva in one of her not so significant film "Trees die standing" (by Amir Shervan, 1971).

Katayoun's activities as an actress came to an end with the 1979 revolution.
After about 26 years of being banned from acting, she played her first very short role in "Loser" in 2004; it was the very first time she appeared in a movie after 1979.
