The Time I came Back! (GHASHANG & FARANG ) (2016)
Cinematic photos from new Iranian film ‘The Time I Came Back’ have been released with a frame featuring famed French actor Jean-Damien Barbin.
‘The Time I Came Back’ is a romantic family film whose story can be relatable to each one of us, according to the director of the film Vahid Mousaian quoted by local media.
Bahram and Hamid are living with their mothers, Ghashang and Farang. Bahram is a film critic and Hamid, a dentist who is not well committed to his wife. This is why, his wife has left for France with the excuse of higher education.
Bahram’s wife as well, has divorced and left for Dubai with the dream of selling her paintings. But this is not the cousins’ whole life. At the end of a party which has been held by the two in their mothers’, something happens to Bahram in a silent street which changes the life of the whole family.
Director’s Note
When I was writing the script, I’d think it was just a story. But then the story stretched its hand to the world of reality and demonstrated itself. Then I thought why did I write this story? Just for creating a story? Or a return to future? Whatever, it was not a story in the end. It was a reality that I’d wish a happy ending for it.
